Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Beket ("Beket," "we," "our," and/or "us") on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use our website (https://beket.ai) and services (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the processing of your information as described in this Policy. Your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

  • Account: A unique account created for you to access our Service.
  • Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Service Provider: Third-party companies (including AI backend providers) employed by Beket to facilitate the Service.
  • Usage Data: Data collected automatically, such as IP addresses, browser types, and time spent on the platform.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect information from you in three primary ways:

A. Information You Provide

  • Contact & Account Information: Your name, work email, company name, and phone number when you register or request a demo.
  • Communications: Content of messages, attachments, or feedback you send us directly.
  • Social Media Login: If you choose to log in via Google or other Third-Party services, we collect your name and email associated with that account.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage & Device Data: IP address, device type, browser version, and operating system.
  • Cookies & Tracking: We use session and persistent cookies to authenticate users, prevent fraud, and remember your preferences.
  • Product & Session Analytics: We use in-app analytics to understand how our website and dashboard are used and to improve the product. This includes Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Microsoft Clarity records page interactions such as clicks, scrolls, and mouse movement and replays them as a session; the text on the page is masked, so the content you see is not captured. When you are signed in to the Beket dashboard, we attach an internal account identifier to that session so it can be matched to your account for support and troubleshooting — we do not send your name or email address to Microsoft. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for how Microsoft processes this data.

C. Information from AI Interactions

As an AI-driven platform, we may process inputs you provide to the Services to generate outputs. Please do not share sensitive personal information within AI prompts unless necessary for the service.

D. Google User Data (Search Console & Analytics)

If you choose to connect a Google Search Console property or a Google Analytics 4 property, Beket reads data from those properties on your behalf. This connection is optional, read-only, and can be removed at any time. We request the narrowest scopes that cover the features you connect for:

  • Search Console (webmasters.readonly): the list of properties you have verified, and — for the property you choose to connect — the search queries and landing pages on your own site with their clicks, impressions, and average position. We use this to show your existing organic search performance alongside your visibility in AI answers.
  • Analytics 4 (analytics.readonly): the list of properties on your account, and — for the property you choose to connect — daily session counts grouped by referral source over a rolling 28-day window. We use this to measure how much traffic AI assistants send to your site. This report is aggregated: it contains no user-level identifiers, no individual visitor records, and no event or profile data.

These scopes are read-only. Beket cannot create, modify, or delete anything in your Search Console or Analytics account, and we never request write access.

Storage, retention, and deletion. Your Google authorization tokens are encrypted at rest and are used only to read the properties you connected. The data we read is stored with your organization's audit records and is visible only to members of your organization. When you disconnect a property in Beket, we delete the stored authorization tokens and stop all further access. You can also revoke Beket's access at any time from your Google Account's third-party access page, which immediately ends our ability to read your properties.

How we do not use it. We do not sell or rent Google user data, do not use it for advertising or to build advertising profiles, and do not use it to train machine-learning models. We do not transfer it to others except the service providers required to operate Beket (such as our hosting and database providers), or where the law requires it. Where the Services generate written recommendations, derived metrics may be processed by our AI providers solely to produce your own report.

Beket's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

E. Slack Integration Data

If you connect Slack to beket.ai (from Settings → Developer in the app), we use Sign in with Slack (OpenID Connect) to link your Slack identity to your beket.ai account. This connection is per person — never workspace-wide — and can be removed at any time. We request identity scopes only (openid, email, profile, offline_access) and use them to:

  • Authenticate you: the sign-in returns your Slack identity so we can match you to your beket.ai account. We persist only your Slack team ID and user ID for this — we do not store your Slack name, email, or profile picture.
  • Slash-command requests: when you run /beket (or a subcommand), Slack sends us the command text along with the user, channel, and team IDs needed to reply. We use these solely to generate and return your response in the moment; we do not retain the command content.

What we do not access. beket.ai requests no access to your Slack messages, channels, or files, and cannot read your team's conversations. Each /beket reply is visible only to the person who ran it (until they choose to share it) — so Slack shows exactly what they could already see in the dashboard, and nothing more.

Storage, retention, and deletion. Beyond your Slack team ID and user ID, we do not store any other user data. Your authorization tokens (including the refresh token from offline_access) are encrypted at rest and used only to keep you signed in. Disconnecting Slack in Settings → Developer deletes the stored tokens and IDs and unlinks your Slack identity; you (or a workspace admin) can also remove beket.ai from your Slack workspace's app management settings, which immediately ends our access.

How we do not use it. We do not sell or rent your Slack data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train machine-learning models.

3. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To provide, maintain, and improve Beket's features.
  • Account Management: To manage your registration and provide customer support.
  • Communication: To send you technical updates, security alerts, and (with your consent) marketing materials.
  • Safety & Compliance: To detect and prevent fraud, and to comply with legal obligations.
  • AI Enhancement: To analyze usage patterns to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our models.

4. How We Disclose Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Including cloud hosting (e.g., AWS/GCP) and AI infrastructure providers.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, sale of assets, or acquisition.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Beket or our users.

5. Your Choices and Rights

  • Marketing: You may opt out of promotional emails at any time via the "unsubscribe" link.
  • Cookies: You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some features of Beket may not function correctly without them.
  • Data Rights: Depending on your location (e.g., EEA, UK, California), you may have the right to access, delete, or port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

6. Retention and Security

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. While we use industry-standard security measures (encryption at rest and in transit), no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Beket is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International Visitors

Our Services are hosted in the United States. If you are accessing Beket from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from your jurisdiction.
