Best GEO Tools 2026: 6 AI Visibility Tools Compared on Price and Coverage

By Nur Rysbek Updated

A year ago, “GEO tool” mostly meant a spreadsheet and a lot of copy-pasting into ChatGPT. Now there are dozens of AI visibility tracking tools that will check AI answers for you. They’re hard to compare, because every vendor counts prompts, engines and “checks” differently.

We publish one of these tools, Beket AI, so read this list with that in mind. We’ve included ourselves next to the tools we compete with. Every competitor price and feature below comes from that company’s own pricing or help pages, read on November 2, 2026, with links so you can check them. Where something isn’t published, we say so rather than guess.

How we judged them

A GEO tool should help with four jobs. Vendors split the work between them very differently:

  1. Sampling: running your prompts on the engines your buyers use, often enough to see a trend instead of a fluke.
  2. Scoring: turning the answers into mention rate, share of voice, citations and sentiment. (See the metrics that replaced keyword rankings.)
  3. Accuracy: telling you when an engine says something wrong about you.
  4. Direction: pointing to the gaps that matter, such as missing sources, weak pages or competitor wins.

We also looked at how each vendor counts usage. “50 prompts” can mean 50 questions on every engine, or 50 question-and-engine pairs. That difference can quietly double or triple what you pay.

Tracking vs optimization: what these tools measure and what the work is

Most AI visibility tracking tools cover the first three jobs above: they measure. Some vendors now market themselves as leading AI visibility optimization tools or platforms, but the optimization itself still happens on your pages, your listings and other people’s sites, not inside a dashboard. It helps to keep the two apart when you compare tools.

What tracking tools measure:

  • Mentions: whether an engine names your brand for a prompt, and how often across repeated runs.
  • Share of voice: your mentions compared with competitors’ on the same prompt set. See what AI share of voice is.
  • Citations: which URLs an engine lists as sources, yours and everyone else’s.
  • Sentiment and accuracy: how the answer describes you, and whether the facts in it are right.
  • Change over time: the same prompts re-run on a schedule, so you see a trend instead of one snapshot.

What optimization work is:

Tracking tells you where to work and whether the work moved anything. Optimization is the work in between. Some tools on this list add help with it, such as Otterly’s GEO URL audits, Semrush’s AI-readiness site audit and Beket AI’s prioritized fix roadmap. Those features point at what to change. Your team or your agency still makes the changes.

The tools

Beket AI

Best for: brands and agencies that want daily checks on the three engines most buyers use, plus accuracy scoring, at a flat price.

Beket AI runs your prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overview. It reports who gets mentioned, which sources get cited and whether what the engines say about you is accurate. Each audit ends with a competitor analysis and a prioritized fix roadmap. Pro adds daily re-audits.

  • Price: free one-time audit (25 prompts × 3 engines, no card). Pro is $49/month and re-audits daily, starting at 50 prompts across the same 3 engines.
  • Integrations: Webflow, Google Analytics and Cloudflare.
  • Keep in mind: there’s no giant pre-built prompt database like Semrush’s or Ahrefs’. You track the prompts you choose. Beket AI recommends fixes, but your team ships them.

Profound

Best for: enterprise marketing teams that need wide engine coverage, security reviews and API access.

Profound’s homepage says it is “trusted by a third of the Fortune 100.” As of November 2026, its pricing page lists two plans:

  • Trial: free for 7 days, with 50 prompts run daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Trial prompts can’t be customized.
  • Enterprise: custom pricing. It includes up to 9 answer engines, SSO/SAML and SOC 2, an API, CSV/JSON exports, Prompt Volumes, ChatGPT Shopping tracking and dedicated support.

Both plans list unlimited seats. Its Agent Analytics integrations span Cloudflare, Akamai, AWS, Fastly, Vercel, Netlify, WordPress, Google Cloud and Google Analytics. Profound also sells an agency plan, which we cover in our agency platform guide.

  • Keep in mind: there’s no published self-serve price for a single brand, so budget conversations start with sales. For options at other price points, see Profound alternatives.

Otterly

Best for: small businesses and consultants who want the cheapest paid starting point.

Otterly’s pricing page lists three self-serve plans, all with daily tracking and unlimited team members:

  • Lite: $29/month for 15 prompts
  • Standard: $189/month for 100 prompts
  • Premium: $489/month for 400 prompts

Annual billing takes 15% off. The included engines are ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Google AI Mode and Gemini are paid add-ons, and so is Claude. Standard and up add an API, MCP access, a Looker Studio connector and more GEO URL audits. Otterly also offers a free trial.

  • Keep in mind: 15 prompts is a small sample for a brand with several products or markets, and add-on engines raise the price. We compare it head to head in Beket AI vs Otterly.

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit

Best for: SEO teams that already pay for Semrush and want AI visibility in the same place.

According to Semrush’s knowledge base, the AI Visibility Toolkit costs $99/month with no free trial. It includes 25 tracked prompts, 1 domain for Brand Performance, prompt research and an AI-readiness site audit for up to 100 pages. Daily prompt tracking covers ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Gemini. Share of voice and sentiment cover those three plus Perplexity, and update weekly (Semrush). Semrush says its prompt database holds more than 317 million prompts (KB).

  • Keep in mind: each user needs their own $99 toolkit license. Extra prompts cost $60/month per 50. Semrush’s own blog notes that each tracking campaign follows one AI platform, so tracking the same prompts on two platforms uses twice the limit. Full breakdown: Beket AI vs Semrush.

Ahrefs Brand Radar

Best for: researching a whole market, including competitors, without writing prompts first.

Brand Radar runs a pre-built database of 525 million+ prompts through AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, and stores the responses. Its AI Visibility Index starts at $199/month, or $699/month for all models. Paid Ahrefs plans also include a daily quota of custom prompts: 5 on Lite, 10 on Standard and 20 on Advanced. Custom prompts can also run on Claude.

  • Keep in mind: Ahrefs itself says the index works best “once your brand already appears in AI search.” The custom-prompt quotas on lower Ahrefs plans are small.

Scrunch

Best for: mid-size brands that want a larger prompt set and more licenses in one plan.

Scrunch’s pricing page lists Core at $250/month. It includes 125 prompts, 5,000 responses a month, 5 user licenses and 4 engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AIO and Copilot. There’s a 7-day free trial. Enterprise is custom-priced and adds up to 9 engines, an API and SSO.

  • Keep in mind: the pricing page shows Core limited to one country, language and persona, with no API, MCP or Looker connector.

Free places to start

Before you pay for anything, use what the search engines give you:

  • Google Search Console and GA4 show some of the traffic AI features send you, though not whether you were mentioned. See how to track AI Overview traffic.
  • Bing Webmaster Tools has an AI Performance report that shows when Copilot cites your pages. See our Bing AI Performance report guide.
  • A free one-time audit from a GEO tool gives you a baseline across engines without a subscription.

Which GEO tool should you pick?

  • You’re starting from zero and want a baseline: run a free audit first. You’ll learn more from one multi-engine baseline than from a month of manual spot checks.
  • You want daily tracking on a small budget: Beket AI Pro ($49, 50 prompts on 3 engines) or Otterly Lite ($29, 15 prompts on 4 engines). Choose based on whether you need more prompts or more engines.
  • You live in Semrush or Ahrefs already: their AI add-ons keep everything in one login, and their prompt databases are useful for research.
  • You need SSO, SOC 2 and nine engines: Profound Enterprise or Scrunch Enterprise. Expect a sales process.

Whatever you choose, keep your prompt set honest. Include questions where you expect to lose, not just the ones you already win. Our guide to building a prompt library shows how.
